Vancouver - It's commonly said that the best place to look for a deposit is beside a mine. Well, New Nadina Explorations (NNA-V) is taking that logic that one step further.

The company's Monument project sits just about equidistant between two of Canada's premier diamond mines: it is 30 km south along a kimberlite emplacement corridor from BHP Billiton's (BHP-L, BHP-A) Ekati mine and about the same distance west of Rio Tinto's (RTP-N, RIO-L) Diavik mine. Ekati was Canada's first diamond mine and it has been producing three to five million carats of diamonds annually since production began in 1998. At Diavik, some 8 million carats of rough stones are pulled from the ground every year.

New Nadina Explorations Ltd., struggling on at 21 cents, plans a spring drill program to test some intriguing targets within Lac de Gras, says the company's head, Ellen Clements. The Monument property, once a favourite of her late husband, George Stewart, saw its biggest drill program so far this year. The work produced three new kimberlites, and one of the finds suggests New Nadina will have more success next year. Meanwhile, the company and its partners have sent over 2,200 kilograms of kimberlite off to the lab for diamond recovery.

New Nadina Explorations Limited (the "Company")  and partners Chris and Jeanne Jennings (22.11%), and Archon Minerals Ltd (20.4%) are pleased to summarize results of the summer drill program completed September 10, 2008 at the Monument diamond project at Lac de Gras. NWT.

Two drill rigs completed 3,465 meters in 38 diamond drill holes (DDH), with 17 holes coring kimberlite.  The exploration team discovered three new kimberlite pipes: Trio, Gemini and Sparky and delineated kimberlites Sonja, Genie, and DD39 pipes.  Whole core kimberlite samples weighed in total 2,206.5 kg, and were submitted to Microlithics Laboratories Inc. of Thunder Bay for caustic fusion dissolution. I & M Morrison Geological Services Ltd. will measure and describe all diamonds recovered.  Processing has already commenced and results will be reported as available.
