New Nadina Explorations Limited (the "Company") and partners Chris and Jeanne Jennings (22.11%), and Archon Minerals Ltd (20.4%) are pleased to report diamond counts from kimberlite recovered from diamond drilling and RC drilling completed during the spring 2009 exploration program at the Monument diamond project at Lac de Gras, NT (also refer to News Release: May 8, 2009).
In the northern zone, land-based kimberlite Trio was tested with one diamond drill hole and 13 RC holes that cut kimberlite and host rock to define the dimensions of the Trio kimberlite dike. Diamond drill hole 09-02-TRIO (Azimuth 157°,Dip -45°, Length 81.4m) intersected kimberlite from 58.45-60.91m, for a 2.46m interval, intersecting the DD2002 dike, which is now interpreted to be part of the Trio kimberlite. Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) returned 8 diamonds from 7.4 kg. collected in 2009 which has been segregated in Table 1 from the combined core weight to date of 1,023 Kg. The largest diamond sits on the 1.18 mm sieve (Table 1).Table 1: Trio microdiamond results from diamond drilling.

RC hole 09-04 was the only hole submitted for microdiamond analysis from Trio, and remaining RC samples (about 3,100 kg) are stored in security-sealed ore bags on the property. Sampling of RC hole 09-04 resulted in 127 sub-samples processed at SRC for a combined weight of 1018 kilograms returning 848 diamonds.

Diamond reporting, photography (by SRC) and subsequent interpretation by New Nadina shows at least 2 diamonds have been broken. The fragments are too numerous to reconstruct therefore cannot determine the original diamond size. The diamond breakage occurred in two different sub-samples. These broken fragments are included in the smaller sieve counts. This high number suggests the RC drill in its current form is not the best method for kimberlite sampling. RC diamond counts presented in Table 2 are not considered representative of the Trio kimberlite and should not be used to evaluate the diamond content of the kimberlite, and they are not included with the diamond drill results presented in Table 1.
RC chips will be reported separately and not combined with core samples results as they do not correlate. It is anticipated that using a different drill bit, and modified drilling techniques might improve large diamond recovery, since RC drilling has been successfully used in bulk sampling of other kimberlites worldwide.
Microdiamonds from kimberlite DD42a, the most western of four strong magnetic low responses in the northern cluster are presented in Table 3. Drill core samples from diamond drill holes 09-05-DD42a (Azimuth 72°,Dip -45°, 102.1-139.9m), 09-06-DD42a ( Azimuth 249°,Dip -45°, 26.5-34.2m), and 09-06b-DD42a (Azimuth 249°,Dip -60°, 37.2-77.0m) resulted in a combined sample of 199 kg, which is presented in Table 3. Each drill hole stopped short in kimberlite due to technical problems encountered by diamond drillers.

Table 4 contains results from 97 kg of kimberlite extracted from the 307.5 kg sample obtained from RC hole 09-07 on DD42a. Twenty six other subsamples (210.5 kg) returned no diamonds, and are suspected to be lake sediments, and have not been included in table 4. The hole was lost at 28.3 meters.

New Nadina is encouraged the diamond content of kimberlite DD42a. The risks and limitations to the current practice of RC drilling will be addressed in the next program. Trio has proven to have limited size potential with limited opportunity for expansion, so no further work is planned on this kimberlite or its samples.
It is hoped a summer program will be conducted to evaluate newly developed land-based geophysical targets on the western portion of the property prior to drilling. The existing land targets can be drill tested either in spring or summer depending on funding. Further drilling of the DD42a is necessary to determine the size and shape while obtain more kimberlite sample. Additional diamond drilling on kimberlite magnetic targets DD42b, DD42c, and DD42d is from ice in spring 2010. Follow-up diamond drilling is also required on several narrow kimberlite intervals from prior drill programs where new strategically placed holes could prove the anomalies as kimberlite pipes.
New Nadina Explorations Limited is the operator of the Monument Diamond Project, a joint venture between New Nadina (57.49%), Dr. Chris & Jeanne Jennings (22.11%), and Stu Blusson’s Archon Minerals Ltd. (20.4%). The Monument project, strategically located in close proximity and with easy access to both the Ekati™ and Diavik™ Diamond Mines, has to date, 12 diamondiferous kimberlites identified in three zones known as the northern, central (Blue Pearl String) and southern zones. All kimberlites from each of the three zones have diamond distribution curves that predict large stone recovery with adequate sampling.
